As of 3/25/2020, we are able to see your child via telehealth. This is a video visit and will require you to have a computer, tablet, or smart phone with video and audio capability. Before your telehealth visit, please ensure your camera and microphone on your device are turned on, and the application used for the call has access to them. We are offering telehealth visits for any sick complaints and for mental health rechecks. If we determine that your child needs a physical exam or some type of testing (such as for strep, flu or COVID) after your telehealth visit, there is a heated outdoor examination/testing area in the Delhi location parking lot for this purpose. There are designated parking spots in the Delhi parking lot to park in after your telehealth visit if you are coming for a test or exam. This way, your child never has to come into the office and we can further limit the spread of germs.
Telehealth visits will be billed to your insurance the same way in-person office visits are billed.
If you have symptoms concerning for COVID-19 (cough, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, fever, chills, body/muscle aches, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, vomiting, or diarrhea), BUT have NO known exposure to COVID-19, you will now be allowed to schedule an in-office sick visit if you wish. If you have a KNOWN exposure to COVID-19, you will be asked to schedule via telehealth.
We can see any mental health consults or med rechecks via telehealth at ANY TIME during our business hours. This includes anxiety, depression and ADHD new and follow up visits. You can also still come in to the office for these visits during our well child hours (all day in the Taylor Creek office, mornings only in the Delhi office).
We are not offering Well Child exams via telehealth due to the lack of ability to perform a physical exam.
We are still scheduling Well Child exams all day in the Taylor Creek office and in the mornings only in the Delhi office. Only well children will be permitted in the office during these times. It is still very important to have your annual well child visit, especially if your child is due for vaccines.
